Talk about a destination wedding. This couple from Chicago phoned up Stacey & Company when they wanted a California coastal wedding. They had found the location, hired a few vendors, but needed some support pulling all the details together along with their printed materials and coordination. We are always more than willing to take a little trip down to the beautiful Monterey Bay to help our clients pull off a flawless destination event.
The couple was very into the idea of having a “green wedding.” We designed and printed custom menus and programs made from seeded paper that when planted, grew into lovely wildflowers. Guests were welcome to take home their succulent place-holders and plant them in their gardens. Even the take-out containers were compostable.
Our couple was married under a gorgeously decorated chuppah on the edge of the property overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Guests were treated to heart-shaped sun glasses to shield them from the sun and make for some really adorable photos. After the ceremony, cocktails were served on the deck along with tasty appetizers. Then, everyone sat down for a lovely dinner at farm tables. This made for a cozy affair. There were a variety of desserts provided by family members made from old family recipes to accompany the wedding cake. The night was capped off with endless dancing & merriment under the stars!
